Does anyone actually get on this site anymore? I do on my music account, but I really don't do anything on my listener account. How sad. I think that I shall get on here more often. Somebody message me or comment me or something, and I will reply. read more

So, once again, I saw Anathallo. Sunday, November 19th, 2006, I was at Walter's on Washington in Houston having a grand time. My third time to see them, and probably my favorite time of all. They played a new song and a longer set because they were headlining. Almost as soon as Amy, Roberta, and I walked into the door, By the End of Tonight started playing. They are so good live. Everyone should support them so that one day everyone will know them. If you like Explosions in the Sky then… read more

Thank you Amanda for the KING SIZE Kit Kat. I'm munching on it right now. Mmm. So I've had things I wanted to write about for a while, but I didn't know which was best to write about and when. And so I'm going to do different things all in one blog, like I've done before. Well, first of all, I'm going to see flippin' Anathallo again this Sunday, with Page France, Colour Revolt, and By the End of Tonight. I can't wait. And I will finally get to meet my friend Mollie from Houston, because… read more

Yesterday (Sunday) I went with some chums to Texas Style Burgers/Red Top for lunch after church. Although it took us forever to decide, that was the place we all agreed on, for various reasons, personal and otherwise. So as we sit down to eat, I, being the loser that I am, have to put my retainers in a napkin because I don't just carry my retainer case with me everywhere. Just as I am putting them in the napkin, chum #1 Chris decides it's time to pray, so I close my eyes, and in doin… read more

Okay, so I'm in love with mewithoutYou's new cd, "Brother, Sister". If I wrote a dictionary entry for "amazing", this cd would be definition numero uno. And knowing that Anathallo (my other favorite band) plays a little bit on this cd makes it just that much better. I can't wait to see them on the 24th. But anyways, this blog isn't going to be entirely about the greatness otherwise known as mewithoutYou. Mainly, I just wanted to know if other people think I'm intimidating. I've had a few… read more

I used to ask that all the time, because sometimes [whatever] could be explained to me and I wouldn't have to go through the trouble that confusion brings. Instead of being confused initially, I stop and ask. Today, however, I've thought about it, I've confused myself even more, and now I'm taking a step back and asking. So is it? ... Well I officially hate feeling the way I felt in my last journal (blog), and I'm not even sure I had a right to feel that way now. Previously mentioned sit… read more

I'm not going to say that I didn't care...well, yeah I am. Saturday, I didn't care. I didn't dry my hair like I usually do, I didn't put on my contacts, I sat around doing homework and reading. Things like this just need to happen sometimes. It was nice. Have you ever just thought about someone so much and then they just showed up on your doorstep? Well, I'm not saying I was thinking about her all day, because I wasn't. But I had been thinking about her recently (like the past week or s… read more

So just a few hours ago I was at Number's in Houston, at a really amazing concert. Street to Nowhere, Rainer Maria, The Format, and flippin' Anathallo!!! It was really fun. I actually didn't not like any of the bands. They were all good. If anyone gets a chance to see any of those bands, you really should take it. If you don't, well, you won't really know what you're missing...but I will. And I'll be sad for you. Boo to all of you who were too dumb to come with me! I told you it would… read more

I wanted to write a funny blog about camp, but earlier I decided that it would be better to get all of the seriousness out of the way. Maybe I will write about the funny stuff later. The worst feeling in the world is when you don't know if you're really hearing from God or not, because then you don't know if you're disobeying Him. - me I'd probably be lying to you if I told you that I've heard from God before, because, in all honesty, I don't know that I have (although I'm pretty sure that… read more

I saw He is Legend and Showbread last nite. And if you don't go see them (if you have the chance) then you may end up regretting it. Granted, it wasn't the best show ever (but I got in late so maybe it was), but it was a really really really spectacular show. And go meet Showbread. Nicest guys in short shorts ever. Short shorts. ...speaking of short shorts, you may want to consider them as a part of your concert attire, because the venue I was at was stinking hot. read more

Trilogies have always been an iffy subject for me. Star Wars (which was actually two sets of trilogies), The Matrix, Three Ninjas, Mighty Ducks, Ninja Turtles, Final Destination, Jurassic Parksome are great and others just suck. There are always three parts to trilogies (believe it or not) and I have taken the liberty to name each part as they are to me. Im sure theres some professional out there who has already done this, but Im doing this my way. First theres The Opener. The Openers job… read more
