She wants to breathe, She wants to live, But she’s suffocating in herself. Time is running, Running out. She’s slipping and falling, Falling down. In a world of black and white, Nothing ever seems quite right. To deaf ears she cries out But the silence is too loud; It’s drowning her now. Broken and afraid, She tries to make her way. She longs for the light of day, But the shadows show no mercy; They just take. Time is running, Running out. She’s slipping and falling, Falling down. In a world of black and white, Nothing ever seems quite right. To deaf ears she cries out But the silence is too loud; She’s drowning now. She’s trying to run, But she keeps falling down. She’s too caught up In this mess called herself. Where everything’s perfect, Her memory remains. But sadly for her, Things will never be the same.
