My first blog!

I think it's about time I posted my first blog here on purevolume. I've already reached my goal of having a longer one than Rachel! I'm already running out of things to say, so i'll randomly list bands that I'm currently addicted to. No, it doesn't mean i'm in love with the band, it means their songs are always stuck in my head.
~The Hush Sound
~Gym Class Heroes
~Paramore
~ Bowling for Soup
~Cartel
And then there's other bands that are just so obvious to everyone I know, that don't even need to be listed. I just got back from the beach. It was fun, but i might as well have stayed home. All I did was read all day and avoid sunlight. I went swimming two of the days. The first of which I hurt my knee(and the rest of my knees were itchy) because I was reading at the edge of the pool. The second, I cut my toe from walking on the floor of the pool. I stopped swimming after that. The rest of the week was rather enjoyable, especially the trips to the book store. If anyopne's bored and would like some book recommendations, here they are:

~Septimus Heap: Magyk by Angie Sage
~A Certain Slant of Light, can't remember the author's name
~Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
~ Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris
I know my first blog is rather boring, but I have a boring life.

Hugs & Kisses,

Samantha

Check out Canadian singer-sonwriter Cat Jahnke. "With
vocals as rich as triple-chocolate mousse, Jahnke
presents a beautiful sound, and a beautiful look into
her intricate life." - MARTHA ALPHONSO / Swerve
Magazine "Cat Jahnke manages to stand out in a Canadian
music scene so rich in talented female
singer-songwriters. The songs are sincere, and the
subtle harmony vocals ice the cake, but that voice...
oh that voice; so pretty it\'s heartbreaking." - BROOSE
