why havnt i seen your smile
if you ask me its been awhile
i might see just a glimpse of the past
everytime i see that grin that wont last

why cant you just realize
were not the village people
were supposed to be equal
you cant work everything out alone

so why cant you just realize
that there is good
on the outside

every breath they take
they move closer
but there not sure
were there gona go from here

so why cant you just realize
that there is kindness
outside the walls you live in
you dont have all the answers
as you may think....

why do you treat
them like sinners
why dont you just
invite them to dinner
just dont try to shove it down there throat
