Hey readers, revelers and rockers
I am moving into virgin territory as this is my first ever blog entry so here go's....
From the 28th July to the 10 August we (Tash, Carl, Gill, Simon, Nic and I ) from the St Michaels Church Southfields, London went to Greece with Hellinic Ministries Operation Gideon 2 and had an amazing time of power house prayer and evangelising the island of Spetses. Twas wild and the work that God is doing through Jesus for the Greek nation is awesome.
We dropped over 1000 bibles to every house located at the new and old harbour of Spetses(the island only has 4000 people ) so we reached a quarter of the full portion. (Nic and I hired mopeds and rode like the wind with our back packs and Tash and Gill holding on for dear life)
On our first run home from delivering to the furthest Western point I was loving the curves and turns of the beach side collanade and rode very close to the concrete barrier ...... Gill screamed and let me know that she was uncomfortable so I stopped the bike and looked at her ankle where the concrete wall had gouged her ankle - We laughed and laughed afterwards but at the time I thought it was even funnier because I so didnt plan it.. "you're the greatest Gill... hold tight and tuck your feet in"
Tash is so blowen away by the leading of the Spirit and obedience and has decided to start a years bible course and the Bible institute Athens- You go girl... you are champion....
I met this cool brother from Canada- Tyler who shared his story of recovery with me which totally blessed me that I have decided to write about it and testify that your obedience to the call of God is awesome my man. Stand Strong in Him" witnessing your baptism at Sunrise was radical and an awesome act of faith.
Simon your camera rules my man- don't stop shooting digital- Take good care of your wife.. Nikon.
Nic the Shark tooth necklass takes the cake, china... hey, you really had me going I thought you had staged a game when you handed me the gift wrapped mini parcel.. you da man!
Carl stand strong in Him- Your obedience and commitment to leadership is very encouraging and I sense there are many more rich and God breathed encounters to come.
Efhiristo, Vicky! your invaluable translation I'm sorry for laughing in the face of the Greek Orthodox Priest but he was cramping my style. Your obedience to the call of God is tremendous- be blessed.
Tash you are about to enter into the promised land seek Him first and everything else will be added
With Love
Rob
