I should be brave.

I've been told I was crazy by three different friends of mine tonight. I spent the evening having a conversation with a boy that I barely know anything about. We talked of what we want from our futures. I told him my wishes. He told me his. It comes to be that him and I are similar. We're both longing for the same thing. We want to just up and go. Leave our pasts behind us and start all over. However, we're both a little afraid to do it alone. So I teased a little. I told him he should run away with me. The conversation may have gotten a little serious. He agreed to it. He said he'd come and get me. I'm weary. He'd give me time for me to make sure because once I agreed to it there would be no turning back. I want to leave. I want to up and go and forget everything I've ever been part of. I want to start over with someone who is as committed as I am. In many moons from now, I hope I'm brave enough to pick up and leave.
