Well, hello there. My name is Kessa. I have no life and I'm convinced that gravity hates me. I'm serious as heart attack when I say I'm lost without my ipod. I bring it with me wherever I go, even if I'm not going to listen to it. Yeah, I'm a loser. But my music keeps me sane...or as sane as I can be.

When it comes to music I'm pretty much all over the place. I love punk, pop punk, emo, screamo, hardcore, post hardcore, rock, metal, alternative, classic rock, oldies, and some rap/r&b/hip hop. I rarely listen to rap intentionally. If a rap song comes on and I like it, I listen to it. Most rap, like country(which I despise), tends to sound the same. A few artists and songs stand out. I love Ludacris, Outkast, Nelly, and Eminem. I occasionally listen to Kayne West, Nas, and other few artist. I'm sorry but I cannot stand Jay-Z or Ja Rule. I just can't stand them. Or Ashanti. She is annoying. The most ridiculous group I ever had the unfortunate pleasure of hearing would have to ICP. They are just not my cup of tea. I think they're retarted. That's just my opinion of the group, not necessarrily the people who listen to them. Eventhough the hardcore fans are, shall we put it, a little over the top.

I also write poetry. It's practically the only form of self-expression I have. I'm a very introverted in person. I'm extremely shy and lack any form of self-esteem. But through my poetry none of that gets in the way. I can just write my little heart out. Except when I get writer's block, which is a pain in the ass.

So to continue my unnecessary rambling, which no one will even bother to read, I would like to state a few of my favorite bands of the moment. First, my favoritest band of all time would have to be none other than The Beatles. Hands down, greatest band to ever walk this planet. You DO NOT get any better than The Beatles. Now as for of the moment: The Used, My Chemical Romance, AFI, Blink 182, Linkin Park, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, and Taking Back Sunday would top my list. I've also recently become obsessed with Matchbook Romance, The Matches, Escape The Fate, From First To Last, and Silverstein. I also extremely enjoy Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Dashboard Confessional, Bright Eyes, Brand New, and Death Cab For Cutie. I could go on and on, since I'm quite enamored with a shitload of bands, that's just to get a taste of the bands I listen to. You could pretty much name any band and I've either heard of them or I already love them. And if I haven't heard of them, I'm more than willing to check them out.

I think I've unnecessarily typed long enough. If anyone ever takes the time to read any of the crap I've just typed, my hats off to you. Peace out.
