Five guys from Mayland unite to create a unique yet familiar sound. Still quite young as a band, these guys are already creating a buzz like no other. Their catchy hooks and incredible harmonies will amaze you when you notice you're singing along before the song is even over. Their early demos, first posted on MySpace in early 2006, quickly became fan favorites and their song Let Go (aka The MySpace Song) was added to countless users' profiles resulting in over 1000 daily listeners during the first month alone. Now with a rapidly growing list of fans and friends, the demand for the EP is overwhelming. The Ransom Theory EP was recorded at Waterford Digital during the summer of 2006 by locally renowned producer Frank Marchand (Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Good Charlotte, The Almighty Senators) and mastered at Airshow Mastering by Grammy winning engineer Charlie Pilzer. Ransom Theory is focused now on playing for as many as possible. This is surely a band to watch out for!

The show a few nights ago kicked some serious ass! Lazzlo Lea and The Motherless Children took the show just as I had suspected, congratulations guys! Now here's where we really need your help. Another Show at the Fish Head, Friday Oct 13th. ALL AGES!
First off I just want to say that you guys have been great with your support. Well it looks like we need it again. We are playing the Fish Head Cantina in Arbutus, again, but this time on a Friday night, October 13th. We hope that you guys can make it out and have a great time with us and the other bands (TBA). There will be a $7 cover but you get a free drink ticket, so if you think about it, you are only paying about 4 bucks. If you are under 21 you can still get in but there is a $10 cover. We don't make the prices unfortunately. Well we hope to see you there. Please feel free to email us any questions. We always answer.
