She sits down on the street corner,
hugging her knees to her chest as the wind blows through her hair
"hes not here anymore"
she says aloud, trying to see what would happen,
as she drops the rose she holding and lets it fly away into the distince.
The sky turns orange as the sun sets completey in the backround, and the street lamp flutters to turn on
A tear sliently falls down her cheeck as she buries her face into her knees,
wishing there to be a way.
She knew it was too good to be true
much too good
Her heart aches, as she struggles to her feet,
running.
Running from everything,
her past,
herself.
She wants to be alone,
alone with him.
As she runs, her dress trails behind her, following, but slowly.
And the faster she runs, the more she forgots about him.
Shes supposed to be with him today, joined forever.
"Forever is a long time you know", her head told her, but her heart said, "forever with him".
He heart surges from the mental picture of him smiling at her,
but then the picture of the accident flashes suddenly,
and her heart jumps to the pain,
"Too much pain" she thought.
And as she comes to a stop, out of breathe, she falls to the ground,
unaware of where she is, Sobbing
Her heart pounds through her chest, as she whispers one last word.
"forever"
as she slipped away, into the comfort of the dark.
