life

music is my life. i used to say that all the time. and for a while, it was true. sometimes music was the only thing to hang onto, so yeah, it was life. but i met this cool guy named Jesus, and things changed. now before you pass me off as a christian prude, i did not say i found church. yeah i go to church, and i get alot out of it, but that's not the point. Jesus is more than a building and two hours a week, and he's more than rituals and glorified speeches (aka sermons). he's a cool guy that actually cares about what happens to people. he walked around a little lake in Palestine and told people how to live the right way. and then, because the idiots there (and here) can't, and won't, follow directions close enough, he died. not because we killed him, but because there had to be a punishment for all the crap we do. so he took our whipping for us, and we can live. he is my theme and reason. so call me a freak, but i found a new phrase: jesus is my life, music is my medium.
