london

i have been in london for about a month now. it's exciting. a little crazy, but exciting. i had a nice little stable life in pittsburgh, but it was time for me to go. now i've begun my course in law, and i don't know what the end will be. the means is the end. so i just keep going and flowing. i'm happy. it sounds so simple, but it entails incredible complexity. i don't believe real happiness comes out of ignorance. i believe real happiness comes out of reducing ignorance. those who say ignorance is bliss has never felt the bliss of understanding the personal power every person has with knowledge of interconnected reality. that being said, we know nothing. this year has been a bit enlightening, sincerely. while my own thoughts have done their own thing, two films i've seen this year have done so much to relate how my thoughts are in line with the direction i seek. truth. now, i can't ever say i know everything or for that matter, anything at all. but when i saw zeitgeist, and zeitgeist: addendum, my eyes opened up. not because it's propaganda, no, it's not that-- anyone who dares to make such an argument misses the entire point of the film. rather, it is understanding how individuals think and therefore behave is what is important. if you're interested in seeing the film, well, the link is none other than right here: http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ -- watch the first one, and then the second one; however, if you choose to watch the first one, most of all i hope you watch the second one, for that is the most recent film with recent input. let me know what you think. i wouldn't write this if i didn't love every single human and all there is to love in the universe. that is the truth. i live for it.

it has been a really, really long time

and for that, i just wanted to give everyone an update on what's going on in my life, not for the sake of myself, but i have a lot of broad goals for which i have a lot of passion.

it's been well over a year since i've been active on this page, and i did read everyone's comments that messaged me. i don't like not being in touch, and honestly, i don't mean to leave out responses for those who've contacted me. i truly appreciate the genuine concern and interest many of you have given me, it means a lot.

i graduated from college in december, and i have been working since. more is happening for me as well, and before i continue saying more, here are my favorite picks as of late:

now, what about me and music? what's going on? i'm going to be very clear on this-- i'm not going to let the fall of others dictate where i am or where i go. i have passion about things that i feel really matter, and that passion will drive us all to love if we can believe in it.

if i didn't get back to you lately, please hit me up, and i'd love to hear about what's going on in your life. i don't learn a thing in life without getting to know others. i want to learn. i wouldn't mind telling you more, either. the only way to have love in this world is to have acceptance of the people around us. i might not agree with everything you say, but i'll sure as heck hear what you have to say. it's the voice that matters.

what am i up to?

hey. i'm alive. i realize that it was an odd pursuit to try to talk to so many people on purevolume. well, since the site is so slow, and i've even e-mailed one of the purevolume staff concerning the situation (not to mention i know how to organize systems like these, i'm an information systems designer and developer) without response, know that you can reach me over AIM! ryebread212 is my screen name. if i don't sign on, it's because i'm busy! but it's great to talk. sorry i didn't respond to your comments if this applies to you. take care. lots of great things are happening!
