Hummm...Who on this board digs dark alternative music like me?
If you do, then check out the Cinematics. They are signed to TVT Records; the greatest record label in the world; and have a brand new album out called "A Strange Education". I have the CD. The ENTIRE ALBUM is ROCKIN!
They are on tour now with Mute Math and Somebody Loves You Boris Yeltsin.
I AM SO FREAKIN EXCITED TO SEE THEM LIVE!!!! And I absolutely plan on meeting them too.
I'll let ya know how it goes.

If you go to their downloads section, you can view/hear their video cards.

Anybody like Hip Hop? I'm not much of a fan myself but I adore PIGEON JOHN.
Check him out. He is extremely unique and very talented. I love the song "Freaks". Who'd thought:-)?
He was here in Kansas City not to long ago. He played at the Record Bar. Fantastic set, though it was cut short due to the opening acts that played way over their time spots.....
I didn't want the show to end.
Met him afterwards. He's a very nice, down to earth guy. He truly cares about his fans.
His new album is out now. It's worth buying for sure.
THE SHOW WAS FANTASTIC! Granted, nothing went as planned but I had a great time anyway.
My roommate/best friend became ill on the day of the show. I felt so bad for her, but she made the right choice to stay home and get better.
I went alone. This was a huge show with a hugh turn out. The crowd was crazy. Two fights broke out around me just because people were trying to push their way to the front of the stage.
I have to admit, I short of pushed my way up the the third row where I stayed for the duration of the show until Social D took the stage.
Placebo, without a doubt, won the crowd over. They played an hour set. I must say, Brian looks bizzare without any hair. Stephan did his crazy gay guy dance and Steve was just plain hot.
Once they left the stage, I started to follow them but that would have meant I would miss She wants Revenge. So I stayed put and enjoyed the show. I found out later from a friend that Placebo ended up going to a gay bar called Missy B's after their set. They got completely trashed...wish I had been there.
She Wants Revenge put on a killer show too. I loved every minute of it. They are worth seeing live if you ever get the chance.
yelp! Gotta go to the Halloweenie Roast this year hosted by 96.5 The Buzz!
Know why? Well let me tell ya.
PLACEBO & SHE WANTS REVENGE.....
Placebo has proven themselves in their live performance shows. I can't pass up an opportunity to catch them live.
She wants Revenge, whom I just saw again in Lawrence Kansas has me addicted. I can't get enough of this group....
