You are not a body with a soul. No, you are a soul WITH a body! There is but a miraculous happening in every heart, every soul. It is but a deep mystery that Christ can live inside of you. It's Christ in you! If you are a Christian, you know this to be true, and you are my sibling in Him! And, as according to my name, this life is just a prelude to what becomes of of in eternity. We as Christians can be thankful to know that this life is as close to hell as we will ever experience! And we are only passing through, for someday there will be deathknocks on my door and I'll be going home! Goodbye cruel world! However, for those who reject Christ, this lonely world is as close to Heaven as they'll ever get. Sad. Eternally seperated from the presence of God is a terrible thought. Even though Satan has dominion over this earth for the present, we still have the presence of God with us, even those who are unsaved witness Him. So, it's important to be Jesus to the world. In a quote from Sain Francis of Assisi, "Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."

If you look to your left
You shall see a darkened gate.
Many have entered and come
Taking the well worn path
That is broad and beat down.
And if you look to your right,
Look hard and you may see
A wondrous golden gate.
Few have come and entered
To take a path less taken
That is narrow and hard.

And torment and destruction.

Tilt your ear in that direction

It Is Finished
This man hangs here on the tree.
On this tree dying for you and me.
His face grimaces from the pain,
He wants you on that heaven-bound train.
Blood flows down his face, to the ground.
Red oozes from the wrists, blood pours down.
The crown of thorns and nails in his hands and feet,
Whips tore his flesh, he is physically beat.
The sky turns black as his last breath nears.
A mother cries as soldiers toss mocking jeers.
A thief hangs beside him, and repents his sin.
This man said, that he is now forgiven.
The vultures hover above as death descends
Lightning strikes, this mans life now ends.
Thunder rolls across the hills as breath leaves him.
The man has died and earth looks now dim.
The soldiers carry his body away to hide
With a stone that could not be pried.
But in three days, there was an empty tomb!
The earth came into a new praising bloom!
Who could this be to give out salvation?
Who could this be to give out redemption?
He is known as the Holy One, Gods own son!
He is Jesus Christ, the anointed one!
An angel stood on top of the stone and said

The Death of Steve Irwin
The current death of Steve Irwin has caused me to ponder the abstracts of life that most only seldom see, or ponder. I feel, often in life, as an observer of things. I suddenly feel as though that nice car I was considering purchasing yesterday, the day of Steve's death, is no longer of importance. Of all things to cause death, why by stingray? The percent liklihood alone to die while swimming with the stingray was very miniscule. Especiallly when compared to other animals that Irwin came in contact with. Some of my friends told me that this was mainly caused by the fact that Steve was out of his element. Then, there's the "what goes around comes around" theory, referring back to when Steve held his son in front of the crocodile way back. But all in all, his death was caused by a freak accident. Only one explaination is really possible: it was his time. It would have been sadder had Steve died due to his own stupidity, like being eaten by a croc, or something like that. But he should not have died by stingray. The situation makes me wonder what Steve's relationship with God was like. I mean, to have studies these creatures as he did, he would have to know that there was a creator! I really don't know the answer to that. He left behind two kids and a wife. His kids will never really know their daddy. But, one good thing about this is that they have all the videotapes in the world with which to get to know him. It's just really sad to have lost a father while doing what he loved best. It may seem strange, but I do mourn his death. I feel as though I've lost a friend, even though I had no personnel relationship with the man. I think one reason I mourn so is that I don't know whether he went to heaven or hell. Only God knows his relationship, but I hope with all that is in me, that he was a christian man...
Supertones!
I know this is old news to some of you, but the Supertones are no more. I wanted to write this because the Supertones were a tremendous inpiration to me. If one band could have inspired me to be bold for Christ it would be the Supertones. In their songs and lyrics they always took a strong stand for Jesus Christ and never backed down. Here is a song of theirs from their latest album:

We long for the day when we will see the heavens and the earth as they should be
Though this song isn't one of their best, it speaks to me as I look forward every day to the coming of or Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Prince of Peace! Plus, this song supports exactly how I feel on the issues of abortion and the state of the world as a whole.
I personally don't know any other band that has written has many songs stating the love of God and putting Jesus into their songs with such vigor as the Supertones. They were a true blessing to me and affected my life greatly. When I needed encouragement, the songs of the Supertones were there. When I just needed some extra boldness in sharing Jesus, the Supertones' songs would help bring it to me. The Supertones will be greatly missed in my heart. I hope some other band with as much enthusiasm can step up to the plate and continue the bold proclamation of Jesus that the Supertones held on to untill the end.

Looking at these recent events going on around the world has been really emphasizing what I know about Muslims. I don't mean to offend, but the truth is that there is no such thing as a "moderate" muslim. The Islamic religion calls for world conquest and world dominance in which there is a one world religion. Either you're muslim, or you die! That is what they believe, and anyone who is not a muslim is to die. Their greatest enemy is the Jews because they are God's chosen people, as well as Christians because we have also inherited that right as God's chosen people. I know some muslims claim to be moderate, but either they're muslim without knowing why, or they are a true muslim. One of the men arrested in the latest plot scheme was said to "be a really nice guy." Thereby showing that even a kind muslim that seems moderate, may in fact be just as radical as the others. That is because that is their calling. From birth, children are raised to see the glory in a suicide bombing. It is a muslim's belief that a suicide bombing leads to paradise. A straight shot. The easiest way to get there. A suicide bombing brings honor to the family of the person who commits the act of terror. Theologians that have studied the Word say that the Man of Lawlessness, or the Anti-Christ will rise out of a country around the Middle East. In this way, it would be fairly easy to twist a one-world religion out of Islam, and then turn it again to make himself god. I find it sad that so many people will follow this evil path, but it will happen. One last thought on Islam. Some people say that our God is the same as Allah and it's just a matter of world view. Well, I have news for them! According to the Word of God, nobody can go to Him except through the name of His son Jesus. Not Mahummed, not Allah, but Jesus! Our God is a jealous God, and there is no other. In the Koran Muhammed admitted that he could not even save himself. So, why would one follow him? Because they are badly decieved. The Koran also specifically stated that a muslims mission is to kill Christians and Jews. If a muslim claims ignorance to that fact, than he is not a true muslim or is lying to you.
