I hate to be so serious with issues like this, but I hate the fact that rock/punk/hardcore/etc. musicians that i've seen on purevolume seem to have little respect for other art forms. I can deal with parodies of songs and such. I think it's funny a lot of the time. Then there's those times when they cross the line and seem to not attack music, but people, cultures, and art forms they are indebted to. I really try to respect all forms of art. I'll even sit through a bit of hardcore metal. I actually enjoy a bit of Metallica. I just wonder at people who think it's ok to turn their nose up to other art forms, when a lot of their music is so directly derived and influenced from other art. Just saying...little chinese man and big booty bitches? Making fun of other people is shitty of a musician. Music should be a method of joining not dividing.
