PIPINA PEPERINA
A sea of blood pours out of me and I can feel the emptiness sinking in, as my skin gets closer to my bones and death floods my open veins. (I really am more fun than this and I really don't have suicidal tendencies, don't get me wrong. But I just love the sound of those words, the image they create, the feeling of anxiety they leave you with. So maybe that says a little about me and my pecculiar taste...)
The Wandering
- So, why do you think people here complicate their lives so much? You see them everywhere worrying about this and that and never getting to any conclusions, just more and more confusion.
- I don't know really, I think there is a lot of boredom around. I mean, you'd think that with all there is to do, and all the people around to meet, they wouldn't be bored, but for some reason they don't interact with their surroundings, right? They walk around, they move from place to place, from day to day without really connecting with anything else but themselves.
- Yeah, I guess, maybe that is why they twirl around within their thoughts so much, they need to create these sort of situations in their own minds so they feel more excited about being alone.
- The question is...Why do they feel alone?
-Maybe they choose to feel alone.
- Then, why do they choose to be alone? Why do they choose confinment? Do you think it's a matter of selfishness?
- Mmmm...God knows...hahaha. I think there is a little bit of egocentricity around each one of them. Like, maybe they feel they are too special for the rest of the world, you get me? Or maybe it's just simply that they are too damm lazy to share themselves with others.
- Yeah but, you notice with some of them, that they really crave some sort of interaction, a certain need to let themselves be known by someone else. So I don't know if it's a question of feeling too special or whatever. I think it's more something to do with fear...
My very first time...
- New here, I take it?
- Yes, I just moved here from Venus.
- No way! That's so cool...I've never been there, but I hear it's quite nice. I'm from Mars myself, have you ever been there?
- A few times...it's alright. I'm not so sure I enjoyed my time there, but maybe it's coz I didn't have the right company.
- Yeah I know, it can be a real drag visiting Mars without the right company, but you know...maybe I can take you there sometime and show you around my neighbourhood, I tell you it's VERY nice...
- Hahaha...yeah, I guess that'd be nice...but for the time being we're here, so let's make the most of it!
