Lost forever
It all began in Hollywood California, When a German couple Wendy and Bob received a remarkable gift of life...the birthday of their very first daughter, who they named London. When London was born, her Grandparent's regarded their children ( London parents ) with a bank and a car dealer. London revived the most beautiful, stunning white mansion in the whole state. With a huge landscape full of red and white roses.
I am that little girl, Now a days Im 19 years old, living in the best era ever!. "The Roaring Twenties" also known as The Jazz Age. My mother and father own about 5 banks and 7 car dealerships. We are known to be one of the wealthiest and most popular citizens in Hollywood, California. Everyone compares me to a princess. I honestly disagreed. The other day while i was walking to a 3-D movie, an old guy shout out to me " HEY YOU!!!,SCRAM I DONT WANT ANY DUMB DORA TOMATO PASSING DOWN MY STREET!. and i said to him "HEY YOU! IM NOT A DUMB DORA!!! YOU UPCHUCK OLD MAN!. DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? OBVIOUSLY YOU DONT!!!!.YOU BETTER BECAREFUL WHO YOU'RE SPEAKING WITH LIKE THAT. UNLESS YOU WANT TO BECOME A DRUGSTORE COWBOY!!.
A couple of years later in 1921, the first miss America pageant took place. I was honored to represent the state of California. It was hard work but I managed to keep up and made it to the last ten finalists but, I was disqualified. After all the hard work I was very disappointed and suffered of a depression , I experienced very low-self steam. Which affected not just me but all my surroundings. I though life was over, because I was used to getting everything my way, and always being the best. This really brought me down.
Between 1921-1925 the pre-depression era was beginning. My parents business werent as effective as they used to be. We started losing everything little by little. My parents started building stress, and that stress cost them their marriage. My mother took it really deep and suffered of a heart attack, which paralyzed half of her body. The doctors couldnt do much for her and right when her life was ending she said to me babe, pleaseand I said mom? she continued, take care of your dad. Those were the last words I heard from my mother. My father felt guilty and disappeared, I was left with all the responsibilities.
As the years when by the business werent getting any better. I had already lost half of the car dealers and lost power to 2 of the banks. on October 24, 1929, known as black Tuesday the stock market crashed dramatically. Everything was lost forever.
