so basically im a pretty chill person, but am easily excited. i have huge aspirations for myself in life, that i sometimes feel overwhelmed to accomplish. i hate "the scene" with a passion. especially around here. i dream of leaving this town. i live, sleep, eat, and breathe music- every kind, but my favorite bands as of now are : underoath, cursive, bring me the horizon, girgatron, HALLORAN, flagship rebels, after the burial, heavy heavy low low, see you next tuesday, the number twelve looks like you, the truth behind philadelphia, job for a cowboy, angels and airwaves, the firebird band, taking back sunday, the faint, the bled, and yes, my guilty pleasure: the academy is. dont laugh- you know they're in your cd player, or on your fucking ipod right now. oh, and im sarcastic as fuck.

flagship is seriously one of the best, most crowd interactive performances ive seen. They never disappoint. I dont even like that much punk, but this is seriously high class shit. plus i grew up with those guys. we've had our falling-outs back in the day, but seriously they are some of the coolest, funniest and most unique guys you will EVER meet. plus extremely talented and devoted musicians.

i also hung out with the guys from halloran tonite. good old clay, and of course derek (the beardcore master), and this kick-ass new guy, tyler. definately hot shit. now they are SERIOUSLY THE, and i do mean THE funniest motherfuckers alive. holy shit, good times.
well it seems to be a good-ass kick-off to a great fucking weekend. tomorrow night is prom, parties, and another fucking killer show from flagship and others. and then saturday night is halloran!!! represent niggaaaaas! and its only just the beginning. fuck yeah. i can't fucking wait, and i hope tonite is a projection of good things to come.

i miss the days where we were young and it never seemed like the sun would set on the happiness we lived. the innocence we felt, even though we weren't aware of it at the time. the days when love was as simple as a kiss on the cheek from the boy next door, when it was uncomplicated, like so many other things. just as life was. when your biggest worry was not how you were going to make it through another day, but only if the neighbors could come outside and play for just one more hour. when the people you loved most did not hurt you, when they held you in their arms and told you how much theycared, and the mere thought of them coming home from work at night was what made all the scrapes and bruises from the playground worth it. a day where we would run and hide from each other, not our problems, and the pain we now feel. when life was as simple as running down to the swingset every evening until the street lights came on, and addiction was a word that we didn't even know the meaning of. when the worries of money and abuse would not even enter our minds, and when you looked into our eyes you could see happiness, purity, and hope...
and how i wish i could remember a day such as that.
