I'm in the vanity business.
Not that I'm vain
I'm a licensed cosmetologist.
I work in a salon as an assistant,
and I do private styling jobs on the side.

I've learned that life is in constant motion and you can either accept it or fear it. I try not to live with regret and know every moment builds me into a more wise and understanding person. I wear my heart on my sleeve and my emotions live in my ipod. I've changed more over the past 3years then anyone can know.

I love tattoos, I have six of them and each have a special meanign to them. I love everything from Etta James to Black Sabbath, ATL to Between the Buried and Me and anyting else you can give me. Music is like air to me, I need to breathe it in to feel sane.

I love the Autumn. I get to wear big sunglasses and furry hoodies at the same time and be comfy. I love going to the beach at sunset during the Autmn, it's the most perfect moment you can imagine. A close second perfect day is spent wandering Central Park.

I love cities.
I love dancing in the rain.
I love exploring the Atlantic shoreline.
I love watching the sunrise
I love holding hands in parking lots and laughing at inside jokes.
I love being a hopeless romantic. even if it does mean I give my heart away to easily.

there's a consequence for me

it's been. FOREVER. but I'm back. After spending 2weeks in Camden with my family then venturing off into the lovely city of Toronto with a side visit at Niagara Falls it is time to get downnn to business. Speaking of business. I happen to be jump starting my own clothing line finally :]. Oka maybe not clothes. Maybe more like cute and such lingere but whatev it's a start. A blog will be posted everywhere about it once we get the store and some of the designs fitted. Canada was a blast but I missed my job! I'm obsessed with Victoria's Secret. Like. "I would totally go out with you Jerry Roush but I hav to work 40 hours this week and can't fit you in" obsessed. Well maybe not that obsessed for Roush but you get the point. Whichhhh brings me to the fact that I am offically hooked on Sky Eats Airplane for serious. I don't know when how or why but I can't stop listening. It's bordering on obsessive as well. Some of my photos if you people are boreddd.
I'm not sick anymore just stuck working so I can pay all my bills. My goal is to be completely debt free by my next birthday. Sort of a fresh start as I move into the next chapter of my life thing.
Course that doesn't mean I'm missing the shows I want haha. Scenes and Sirens next week WOOO! I'm excitedddd.

But first I hav my runway show on Saturday. That'll be killerrr. After I'm throwing a small party in my new lovely basement apartment...yes that's right. mineminemine. Granted it's still in my parents house and I hav to pay regular rent...but whatev. It's officially MY apartment and nobody can tell me what I can and can't do. MWHAHAHAHA.

If you can't tell I'm bored and ranting at the moment so I might as well go and find someone on AIM instead to abuse until I'm released. Ugh. I also need to get back to the gym.

My Honest Opinion

Alright so being around ALOT of bands over the past few years, and actively searching around every music site out here, and being around countless shows, I've come to find something that really really bothers me.

WHY...do people find the need to gush and leave the "oh you're so amazing I <3 youuuuu" comments or just LIE to bands and say they're huge fans when uh-they're not. Or why if a band is point blank AWFUL do people (girls especially) have to leave hearts and smiles just because they find the lead attractive?

I hate to tell you girls, but NOT ALL GOOD LOOKING GUYS WHO PICK UP A MIC OR INSTRUMENT HAVE TALENT. And feeding their egos if they're bad won't help either.

Maybe it's just because I've grown the past 4 years this scene, but I have this problem with getting starry eyed around bands and the girlie gushing, and it takes a lot more to impress me now.

If you want honesty, then you should GET IT. Especially when it comes to wanting honesty about something you want to work hard and perfect. And that's what you'll get from me. My TRUE opinion on the pros and cons of your music folks.

And if you don't want honesty, and are just trying to find another 'fan' to go on about 'oh your so cute and dreamy and you sound amazingg<3333'....find a Myspace hoe to do it.

Love vs. Fear

I just finished reading Il Principe by the Florentine writer Machiavelli,
and came to really think about the question he brings out...

Should a Prince (or anyone for that matter) be feared or loved?

Personally I've come to realize I rather be feared. Because let's face it, being loved doesn't mean you get respect 100% of the time. And Love is quite a fleeting thing and easy to manipulate and dissappear.
I much rather be feared and hav it know I won't take anymore bullshit, and that I'm not a doormat for your drama anymore.
