A Pagina57 surgiu no final de ano de 2002. Era uma banda predominantemente cover, influenciada por bandas como Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Pepers, Sevendust, Bush, Silverchair, Nirvana, entre outras. Algum tempo depois, a Pagina57 amadureceu mais, comecando entao, a compor suas proprias musicas. A primeira musica da banda foi "Kill the writer", seguida de LND (Loucos Nunca Dormem), mas a primeira a ser conhecida pelo publico foi a chamada "Jaburu", uma brincadeira da banda que acabou no gosto da galera, chegando ate ser cantada por um Rockeiro conhecido nacionalmente da banda Detonautas (Tico Santa Cruz) em um festival local no qual essa "bem dita" musica nos premiou. No ano de 2005, a banda Pagina57 ja comeca a trazer em seu repertorio musicas proprias e tambem a compor o restante, que no ano seguinte daria origem ao album chamado "O Fantasma da Maquina". Banda formada por: Giorlan (drums), grande fan de Nirvana, banda que o influenciou muito; Benony (bass), o cara mais experiente da banda, principal causador da Pagina57, ele que reuniu toda a galera; Ramirez (vocal), nas suas influencias destacam-se Metallica, Bush e Red Hot Chilli Pepers, normalmente ele eh o cara que quebra a cabeca, o queixo, toca fogo na mao, coisas normais desse tipo...; Thiago (guitar), o ultimo a entrar na banda, em meados de 2004, a principio ele so ia ficar por uns tempos, mas ate hoje nao se sabe por que ele continua... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Pagina57 appeared in the end of year 2002. It was a band predominantly to cover, influenced by bands as Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Pepers, Sevendust, Bush, Silverchair, Nirvana, among others. The first song of the band was "Kill to writer", followed "LND" (Loucos Nunca Dormem), but the first one to be known by the publish was "Jaburu", a joking of the band that finished in the taste of galley, being even sung by a well known Rock musician from Detonautas band (Tico Santa Cruz) in a local festival in which this song made us known. In the year of 2005, the band started to bring in its set list proper songs and also to compose the remain of the songs, that in the following year would be the origin of the album "O Fantasma da Maquina (The Ghost of the Machine)". The band is formed by: Giorlan (drums), a great fan of Nirvana, band which influence him very much; Benony (bass), the most experienced guy of the band, main causer of Pagina57, he was the one that congregated all; Ramirez (vocal), in his influence are distinguished Metallica, Bush and Red Hot Chilli Pepers, normally he is the guy that breaks the head, the chin, touches fire in his hand, normal things of this type; Thiago (guitar), the last one to enter in the band, in the middle of 2004, begining he only went to pass a time, but until today, nobody knows why he continues...)
