A POEM

Tears
Tears fall down her cheek.
Her perfect eyes betray perfect pain.
The pain Ive caused you
The weakness I gave you
The drops of shadow you shed before me.
The tears I dont deserve.
I started with a head start
Im finishing dead last.
And I the walking fool,
Destined for brick walls,
Followed by mistakes.
I failed.
I failed love,
I failed life,
I failed you.
I hate myself as none other.
My vehemence runs deeper than blood.
Thicker than oil.
It burns all emotion away.
Broken thought in its wake.
One thing,
Overpowers self-loathing,
Our love.
Stop crying love,
I dont deserve the tears.
You betrayed yourself to a fool,
Opened your gates to the inept.
You shed your pain because of me,
Im not worth it.
Not one drop,
Not one tear,
Not one crack.
Before me you were unbreakable.
Before me,
Unbreakable
Im not worth it.
You mean too much to hurt this much,
Your eyes are too pure to gaze upon this beast,
Im not worthy.
