I live in a hick town.
It s full of your stereotypical "scene" kids. It s kind of funny because i m into metal music and the such and when they find that out they look at me as though i m a poser. It s crazy because the majority of the girls only like the bands because of their hair and their smiles and the boys only like the bands because they ve got "a rep to protect". So my only question is, who exactly is the poser? Music is not about clothes and being "br00t4l 4$ $h!t"; it s about the sound, the way it makes you feel, the talent of the musicians have. I don t straighten fake hair, wear my clothes four sizes to small, or smoke cigarettes, but i do enjoy music for what it is.
With that out of the way, i d also like to say that i ve got self-respect.
I hate how girls piss and moan about how they re treated like shit by the boyfriends they "love" after a week. You deserve it. Down on your knees on date number two because you ve been convinced that it s "true love forever bbygurl". I don t get it. Guys, what s up with some of you, too? Don t take advantage of half the female population just because they can t use their brain. Self-respect doesn t just mean that i don t sleep around, it also means that my body s clean of poison and my hands are clean of blood. Just because i don t drink, smoke, or do any type of drugs doesn t mean that i m straightedge because i m not going to be some person walking around with huge ass x s on their hands; i m just doing what s best for my body. Some people have said to me "I can t believe how many people are doing drugs. We re way too young to be doing drugs." The people who do drugs are not too young, they are too blind to see that drugs aren t going to help you. The bottle and the pills numb your mind, remove you from reality, but what happens when they wear off? Are you going to do more? When you throw away your life because of off times, you throw away the moments and chances where you could feel infinite.
I am completely confused on my views of religion.
There s a god, sure, but why the hell is he playing with everyone? Just because there s people starving in Africa doesn t mean that others are going to help them. He should know that; he did create us in some way that isn t scientific. Basically, as long as you re a good person, i believe you re doing everything right. You don t need to go and sit in a church for an hour every week just to feel "closer to god" and you don t need to thank god for food because either you or your parents bought it and you/them worked to get the food.
21st century hippies are my next subject.
Why do you people think that putting two fingers in the air matters? For me, when someone puts one in the air it doesn t even matter. Whether or not someone is doing something good or bad in your opinion, they aren t going to stop just because you put your peace sign up and say "W04h dud3, d0n+ d0 +h4+. Kthxbai" Their heart is speaking for them. They re willing to risk it all just to have that one thing happen and you are not going to stand in their way.

Shutup. If you wanted to save the Earth, wouldn t you have started back when we KNEW that what we were doing was causing serious damage? Hell no, you do it now because it s a fashion trend. You can look cool in your enviorment friendly American Apparel; that s all that matters to you. You spray your hair with more products than you would need to do the world s hair during the entire amount of time that the Earth s been here.
Depression hurts.
Shit s going to happen. Call it karma, call it fate, call it whatever you want; i don t care. You sitting there isn t going to change it. There s a lot worse things that could happen. Nobody got anywhere by sitting around feeling bad for themselves, they changed their lives so that they could be able to accomplish things that no one thought they could. Be better than what people expect you to be; blow them away.

There s a quote by my one of my favorite bands, The Fall of Troy, that says "We spend our lives waiting for something to blow our minds. We survive the drone of everyday life thanks to the promise of the extraordinary, the clung-to belief that within the framework of our mundane existences there will be a few things so striking and so monumental they will alter our entire mindset of what is possible." That s what i m living for. The one thing, person, to change everything that i believe in and that i can tell everyone about.
