Revenge
Revenge is completely pointless, two wrongs don’t make a right. When people let something or someone get to them they lose. What do they lose? Many people who seek out revenge against someone become obsessed. So obsessed that they’ll do anything to get payback which may cost them their best friends, dignity, and plenty of other things. It all starts with someone thinking that it’s alright to hurt someone just because they hurt you first. If people were to think twice about their actions then there wouldn’t be vicious cycles of revenge.

Yes, this is definitally true, as least it is to me. I'd say that in order to become greater and learn from your mistakes you have to go through certain things. When a setback occurs it gives you a chance to become someone more different, maybe even better than you were before. I have recovered from my share of setbacks and I think it's only made me wiser. Every great person has gone through tough times to get to where they are now.
