The days are long
Everything I do is wrong
Longing for nightfall
And a smile to save us all
Close your eyes
Unable to sleep
Listen to the cries
Of those who weep
Close out the world
Bright colors and swirls
Go somewhere far away
Relax for a while, stay
Pretend there's someone
Who your troubles will heed
When youre cold and worn
And so in need
