Winterfest Dance

It was finally time to get ready for the school dance
I had been waiting all day long

The last dance, i went with my (then)boyfriend
And it was fun...but i was only with him the whole time

I had my friend, Dion over to get ready with me
We did our hair,shaved our legs,painted our nails
..you know..the usual girl stuff
Finally it was time to get in the car and go.
And this time i was going without a guy

We got there and saw our friends...danced(of course)
Then the best thing happened...I danced with my
(since 6th grade) crush for 3 years.
It was amazing.

Before he was slow dancing with all different girls
Everytime i saw him, a lilttle peice of my world crashed
Then finally he asked me to dance and it was amazing

We've been really good friends for a while
But now. Tonight was the night i finally got to beee with him

After the dance me and Dion went back to my house were
we went to make a pizza
But when my dad put it in the oven, he forgot to take the cardboard off
so it wasnt very tasty

And then we talked and went to bed
It was an eventful night i would say
