Random Rant...

so i took a picture of myself today for the first time in a few weeks cause i got a horrible haircut >:( i was going for a longer version of christofer drew's new hair, and i end up getting a nasty, uneven, not-so-fashionable fashion mullet. styling it is a pain cause i try to make it look like all of my hair is gone, but its no use. the sucky part is that i was trying to grow my hair out [since i had it cut up to my shoulders at the beginning of the summer], but now i almost want to chop it all off again :/ the new pic doesnt show my nasty cut, obviously, cause im so embarrassed by it. oh and btw, i AM wearing a shirt in this picture, its just that the straps are covered [just thought i would point that out cause a friend of mine commented about that on myspace].

anyways, im super excited about the DANCERAWRDANCE3 tour concert!! XD my ride already had bought me my ticket, but my mom just told me today that i was allowed to go. PHEW! this is going to be the longest 3 weeks of waiting <_< cause its all im going to be talking about until it happens. i just still cant believe i get to go! breathe carolina, cash cash, and FAMILY FORCE 5!!!!! hopefully i get to meet them all, finally. then i could die happy, haha. which reminds me, i need to get some good batteries for my monster camera so i can take some sweet pis :) chyeh!

in other news, ive been watching nevershoutnever's video blogs, and they are wonderful :) i honestly think some of his random stuff is inspired by my hero, mitchell davis. i mean seriously, in the vid when he sings "first dance" [adorable song, btw] and he keeps having random clips pop up of him doing dumb stuff, i automatically thought of mitchell. its like my 2 heros morphed together! O_o christofer davis/mitchell drew!?!? that would be weird, but in an awesome kind of way.

oh, something else exciting in the world of kelsey: im getting some local design business. a friend from church wants me in charge of his band's merch design, the girl im riding with to DRD3 is having me draw her a FF5 shirt in exchange for my ticket, another friend wants me to draw on his flat-bill, and then another friend wants one of my NMOD promo shirts printed. :D oh, and Jared, the drummer from Forgotten Tragedy, said that they would wear my shirts and promote me. im so glad people are interested in my work because this is exactly the kind of life career i want: making band merch and promo designs. sure i'd still paint, but design is more of a marketable trait. as long as im doing some form of art, ill be happy.

jeez, ive talked about alot of stuff. wonder if anyone will ever read this anyways, oh well, im off to bed.
