you've probably heard people tell you that you're the future and how you can make it better and all that inspirational junk and alot of times we see how insignificant we are in the world that we allow ourselves to become ignorant and apathetic of the world around us. well, i know we're not going to make anything better but i'm still young with alot of years ahead of me and i just want to tell people not to fuck everything up for the rest of us.
some of us look to these bands because they have a message that we relate to.
there's this bill in congress right now called HR 1955 which makes a commission to prevent `homegrown terrorism' defined as "the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives."
5th definition of force from mirriam webster
5: the quality of conveying impressions intensely in writing or speech
i don't want the bands that i like, to ever have the chance of being prosecuted as a terrorist. neither should you. don't let the gov't fuck with our music.
oh and they also want to regulate your internet too.
`(3) The Internet has aided in facilitating violent radicalization, ideologically based violence, and the homegrown terrorism process in the United States by providing access to broad and constant streams of terrorist-related propaganda to United States citizens.
if you're pissed, start protesting. If you want to get something done, check out this guy, Ron Paul. He's running for president and makes sense to me, maybe he'll make sense to you, too.
