Where the uncommon subjects are regular discussions
I’m free even in a cage, even in pen
I’ve got a clock in my chest and pulse to prove it.
Death order would be Rapture, Martyr, and then natural.
Soon too be English teacher and artsy Mama,
Close to that cap and little paper of adulthood
Within reach of the books, pencils, and temptations,
Holding on a string of faith that it won’t sting and
Still grasping the extraordinariness of the message.
