I've sat and imagined what to do with you
But I've underestimated these painted palms
The dried cracks in my hands only grow on me
The cobwebs in the corner can't say no to company
Why do you pull your hair out, human?
The bristles only cough, they were meant to keep you warm
Don't hesitate to peek, get off the sinking stains
The pleasure of these seas of blended blues
Doesn't come close to being the last scene you see
Maybe the souls didn't know what they were screaming
We knew it was irrelevant, the colors aren't their kind
Shining through disguises like a million different lies
Roll over and die, fiend, you know you'll never catch me
Shrivel up and cry, canvas, kill or steal, you're still turning pale
Accept defeat in black and white
After all this time you still reside in guilty puddles on the floor
I whisper when I speak, yet you think I would deceive?
I am fiery, I am burning, only when you speak against me
You hate me, you envy me, because you're completely unsaturated
As I stand, glowing here, I pity your simplicity
The one thing you've most accused me of portraying
I surround your lifeless figure and honestly say you're lying
Truer than these, you howl inconsistency
Your acrylic strokes into your oil
Choking on the 'truth' in your veins
I'd be spilling blood red onto your palette
If only I'd forgotten
You've never meant anything
