whoaaaaaa. it's been a MONTH&A HALF, friendss. all i can say is that i've been having a blast going to shows, hanging out with friends, going on trips&being with the familia. things have been better since the last time i wrote so it's all good. lemme give y'all a heads up on what's been happening.
*february 24 was the reggie&the full effect show at the troubadour. awesome show. so much energy. so much humor. so much fun. james dewees has got to be one of the funniest people on this planet. i loved the show&my love for him&his music grew massively. i highly recommend that everyone see him live. i hear he's gonna be on this year's warped tour...*
*march 1 was the hellogoodbye/acceptance/panic! at the disco/the academy is show at the house of blues in hollywood. i didn't make it to that show. gave my ticket to a friend because i was stupid&completely forgot to take the day off from work. i couldn't get anyone to cover my shift sooooooo no concert for me on march 1. however, march 2 i made a comeback. i went to the show in vegas. hahahah. i had my ways of going, getting in, watching the show. it was yet another awesome show. each band had their own stage presence&had their own way of performing live in front of the audience. i loved it. it was my third time, i believe, seeing panic. :-) those guys rock. i am so proud of them&their efforts. much respect to them. but wtf? much respect to ALL those bands! they were all amazing! all different genres that night. it was a true diverse night for music.*
*march 6 i went to the taping of jimmy kimmel to see..guess who? yup. PANiC! AT THE DiSCO. hahah. i am a big fan of those guys. i waited in the rain but it was worth it. i was in the front to see their performance. i was on the side&stood right in front of ryan. i was right next to this HUGE guy that was a part of the panic road crew. i felt like a tiny mouse standing right next to him. hahaha. but it was all good. i had fun.*
those were the only shows that i was able to get to. there were a whole bunch of shows i wanted to go to but work&time with the familia clashed with those dates so i couldn't make it. it was a sad trip, i tell ya. but it's okay. i have these shows coming up-
*march 22 - the sounds/action action/morningwood @ the henry fonda theatre
*march 23 - the subways @ the troubadour
*march 30 - taste of chaos @ long beach arena
*april 4 - fall out boy/all-american rejects/hawthorne heights/from first to last @ l.a. sports arena
*april 27 - karate high school @ studio s
*may 8 or 9 [maybe both!] - angels&airwaves @ the troubadour
*june 26 - this providence @ the knitting factory
lemme tell y'all. i guarantee there will be more crap in between everything. i am just so STOKED. for me, it is OFFiCiALLY concert season! YEAHHHH YUHHHHHH!!!
