things are different. my mind is rearranging its thoughts. relocation? yeah, you bet. other than that, its concert season. festival season. EVERYTHiNG music season. so stoked. that's it for now. no more long blogs.
without music, i'd die.
whoaaaaaa. it's been a MONTH&A HALF, friendss. all i can say is that i've been having a blast going to shows, hanging out with friends, going on trips&being with the familia. things have been better since the last time i wrote so it's all good. lemme give y'all a heads up on what's been happening.
*february 24 was the reggie&the full effect show at the troubadour. awesome show. so much energy. so much humor. so much fun. james dewees has got to be one of the funniest people on this planet. i loved the show&my love for him&his music grew massively. i highly recommend that everyone see him live. i hear he's gonna be on this year's warped tour...*
*march 1 was the hellogoodbye/acceptance/panic! at the disco/the academy is show at the house of blues in hollywood. i didn't make it to that show. gave my ticket to a friend because i was stupid&completely forgot to take the day off from work. i couldn't get anyone to cover my shift sooooooo no concert for me on march 1. however, march 2 i made a comeback. i went to the show in vegas. hahahah. i had my ways of going, getting in, watching the show. it was yet another awesome show. each band had their own stage presence&had their own way of performing live in front of the audience. i loved it. it was my third time, i believe, seeing panic. :-) those guys rock. i am so proud of them&their efforts. much respect to them. but wtf? much respect to ALL those bands! they were all amazing! all different genres that night. it was a true diverse night for music.*
*march 6 i went to the taping of jimmy kimmel to see..guess who? yup. PANiC! AT THE DiSCO. hahah. i am a big fan of those guys. i waited in the rain but it was worth it. i was in the front to see their performance. i was on the side&stood right in front of ryan. i was right next to this HUGE guy that was a part of the panic road crew. i felt like a tiny mouse standing right next to him. hahaha. but it was all good. i had fun.*
those were the only shows that i was able to get to. there were a whole bunch of shows i wanted to go to but work&time with the familia clashed with those dates so i couldn't make it. it was a sad trip, i tell ya. but it's okay. i have these shows coming up-
*march 22 - the sounds/action action/morningwood @ the henry fonda theatre
*march 23 - the subways @ the troubadour
*march 30 - taste of chaos @ long beach arena
*april 4 - fall out boy/all-american rejects/hawthorne heights/from first to last @ l.a. sports arena
*april 27 - karate high school @ studio s
*may 8 or 9 [maybe both!] - angels&airwaves @ the troubadour
*june 26 - this providence @ the knitting factory
lemme tell y'all. i guarantee there will be more crap in between everything. i am just so STOKED. for me, it is OFFiCiALLY concert season! YEAHHHH YUHHHHHH!!!
long time no write!
haven't written here in awhile..well, let's recap on what's been going on since the last time i wrote here..
january 19 i went to the street drum corps show over at chain reaction..it was an amazing show with all these surprise guests and whatnot..everyone was cool and we all had a great time..too bad that show was an annual thing but heyy it's all good..
february 5 [or last night] i went to my friend's band's show at the same place, chain reaction..gooooood show..other than the fact that i got rammed into the wall by a random person who was three times my size, i had fun..
and in between all the excitement from the last time i wrote this to now, people have been acting shady towards me..yeahh, true story..it's a crying shame..the people who you thought were good friends are now turning their back on you for a group of other people that you don't talk to anymore because things dind't work out on romantic terms with one of them..sheesh..
well, that's all..i got lots of shit coming up [birthdays, reggie and the full effect show, panic/academy is show, taste of chaos, spontaneous vegas trips]..so until i come back to write, take cares kiddos!..

thursday night [1.12.06] i went to the taping of last call with carson daly and panic! at the disco were the musical guest..they performed three songs, all of which were performed beautifully..it's the second time i've seen them play live..i love it how those guys never cease to impress me..it amazes that such young kids [okay yeahh, they are my age but we're still young!] are so extraordinarily talented and have the maturity to be able to stand such a crazy business..much props to them..my respect and love for them just grew massively since thursday..why, i don't know..hahah..it was just one of those things that came to me as i was watching them perform..good times, i shall say..i'm so stoked to see them again on march 1 at the hosue of blues here in hollywood..now that's a concert that i know i'll be talking about for awhile because not only will i see panic but i will also see the academy is, hellogoodbye, and acceptance..can't wait to see them all in one night..it will be AWESOME..
so this is the new year..
HAPPY 2006 FRiENDS!..05 is over and now we can all start with a clean slate..all i can really say is FiNALLY..i can't wait to see what's going to happen this year..
