A part of me, a part of him,
A wholesome heart, broken apart.
Once tesselete, now incomplete,
I was him, he was me.
A broken spirit, a contrite heart,
But sin has torn, us apart.
I am the puzzle, he is the piece,
The void of my heart, shall always be.
One day sin, will cease me to,
Then I will be, forever with you.
We together, shall then always be,
Forever in His grace and eternity.
For my twin brother Caleb whom I miss dearly. Through this hard trial, God has carried my family and I and given us His peace that passes all understanding. I have experienced a small portion of God's incredible love and He has shaped my life.

Why aren't you here?
I wish you were here daddy,
To dry all of my tears.
All the memories that we shared,
I'll treasure in my heart,
And only God knows,
How I miss you so much.

This poem is dedicated to my friend Christina who lost her father in the spring of 2005.
I wrote this poem for you Christina because I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. I have lost my twin brother Caleb, but death is our cross that we were meant to carry. But with God we can overcome this milestone. So I pray for you Christina that you will let Christ help you to carry this cross and that you may stay firm in Christ Jesus and not be shaken from your foundation.

All this joy that you bring to me,
I treasure in my heart.
That if we were to separate,
I think I'd fall apart.
These memories that we share,
I hold inside my heart,
They mean more to me than rubies,
And only by death will they depart.
Let us hold these bonds between us,
May they grow throughout the years,
May we always be together,
Even when our end is near.
When my time is finally at its end,
I hope you'll be there to hold my hand.
I hope that you'll always be there at my side,
Until my life passes me by.
