mmmhmm, soo I looked up the prp! concert Carolyn mentioned, and it looks like it would be pretty cool- the main band is Anberlin, & I listened to some of their music and they're only ok, I guess. I dno. but the other bands seem pretty cool too. Esp. Daphne Loves Derby! So, I think we should definitely try to go- but we'd need to get a parent to take us.
But if we can't go to that one, mayyybbbee we could go to the Hellogoodbye one the following Wednesday, May 9th. It's at Ram's Head in Baltimore, and the doors open at 6:30. I think that would be really cool; the other band playing with them is "Boys Like Girls"...
Anyway, we can't go to any of these without a parent, so I don't know if any of your parents would be willing to take us...would your dad be, maria, since he's in the music biz? Or maybe Carolyn's mom or dad. My parents most likely wouldn't be willing to take us, unless they liked the music playing, and I don't how much they'd like prp! or hgb. lol. My mom might, though.

Yeah, so I'm on the yearbook staff now...whoot! go me.
So today, this storyteller/singer came & told us this story/sang some {country} songs about how he & his buddies, back in '88 or so, went & built a cabin up in Alaska. It actually was pretty interesting- & he had a lot of rly pretty pictures of Alaska.
& then right after that, the 10th grade class went to Worthington Elementary & met with the group of 3rd graders that we're going to be working with. All the kids in my group are really cute- the one girl doesn't shut up, but besides that, they were really awesome! It's going to be funn...

homecoming update
well, it turns out that Kelly CAN come to Homecoming now... I told my mom, & she was like, "Well, her mom will probably change her mind 15 times about whether Kelly can or can't go, so this doesnt really mean anything..." I was like, yeah, whatev.
the game on Fri. was so much fun! yeah! loved seeing everyone, as alwayys.

so anyway, this past weekend was pretty awesome. I went to the mall w. haley on friday, & we bought matching big pink chunky rings, & I got a pink 80s-looking tunic top from Aero, a rly cute headband from that forever21 accessories place- it's black w. white polkadots, & has a little bow on it!- & this necklace from there, too, that's the silver silhouette of a little boy&girl kissing. SO CUTE!
then we watched aladdin, & pocahontas {she slept over at my house}, then on Sat. I went to Raven's bday party, & then to the KENNEDY CENTER to see the National Symphony Orchestra featuring James Galway!! was awesommme.
on a sadder note, kelly can't come to MD for our homecoming!! does that suck bigtime or WHAT?! & she was going to stay at my house too, & everything! ughhh.
well, whatev. sometimes things work out like that, & there's nothing you can do about it...

SCARY MUCH?!
They don't think terrorists are behind it or anything, but...
it just reminds you not to get too used to "safety".

even though my dad was in the music biz, that\'s
exactly the reason he wouldn\'t like taking us to a
concert. whenever we, as a family, go to a concert, he
always complains because he\'s done it hundreds of
times (not exaggerating, either).
