Sorry for taking so long to respond; I\'m not on the computer as much anymore. I\'ve only read \"Survivor\" by Palahniuk, so I might not be so helpful in comparing him to Vonnegut.
Both he and Vonnegut like to start at the end and work their way from the beginning, as you\'ll notice in \"Survivor\" and \"Cat\'s Cradle\"; both aren\'t bad approaches, really, but you\'d like to see a change-up every once in a while. But the main difference between Palahniuk and Vonnegut is that Palahniuk really goes for catch-phrase and shock value; Vonnegut\'s not so much for that, even if he\'ll end his chapters with a teaser, but he\'s not the only one who does it, of course. It\'s a pity Vonnegut died just recently, though. At least we can expect some more work out of Palahniuk. But I\'ve been reading this poet, Charles Bukowski; I\'ve got the gut-feeling you might like him: check him out if you get a chance.
But have you read any of Vonnegut\'s work? How\'d you compare it to Palahniuk\'s: Give me a fresh perspective. :]
Yeah, we\'re definitely going to be working on that...thanks for checking us out!
after almost three years of being a band, we\'re FINALLY going to recor some songs in a professional studio...so stay tuned...we should have the first song done in two months!
