pure volume, the host of many bands
that try to make it big
they meet, they jam, they play real hard
they rock at every gig
though your instrumentals rock
do you think you have what it takes?
do you know which side you're on
at the pool of true and fakes?
your band's vocals are equally as important
though many just skip this part
they do not know that they truly should sing
else they break their new fans' heart
and lastly i come to the lyrics
for this is my favorite section
without words that express the soul
where can one find perfection?
so this is my adress to all the bands
who've tried and tried but failed:
at the end it's those who followed these steps
that overcame and prevailed
