i am an illustraiter in training, working on a portfolio that hopefully will get me into NSCAD. i'm also big on being in a band, some day i hope to have a past something like gerard ways, minus the drugs, and posably makeup. i'm crazy for comics, love scripting and drawing them. love good manga, like FLCL, but not like the .hack//sign manga, the anime was so much better. another good manga would have to be megatokyo. lol anyways, away from my fanboyness. uh... i like to promote the indie seen, so if i like the music of an indie band i hear on here, i'd so promote you all over my blogs and msn. lol. but only if i like you enough to do so. wich depends on my mood. yes my mood! i'm a very bitter bitter man! grr... anyways this is uber long now... bye.

I've taken some leaps and bounds in my life and I've changed a little here and there.
I'm curently taking bass and vocal lessons. i stopped my violin lessons for the vocal ones but I'm still playing the thing.

played first show ever with my... "band"
it was me and my sister under the name, weenus and the plastic knives. you can't really call WatPK a "band" yet... since Aylas leaving it next month... and then it'll be just me and my brother who just joined as drummer... today... but yeah it's pretty kick ass i'm gonna post some flyers looking for another vocalist (female preferably) and a guitarist! or maybe even someone who's all three of those! and then maybe even a synthesizer...ist? yeah one of them funky piano players to give the music a cool feel. anyways.
the show sucked. played an original song white white. though i forgot the plucking rhythm the first go. but then i picked it up, and i even kept going when Ayla (singer/sister) accidentally elongated the musical interlude. then we did a cover of seven nation army, and Ayla forgot the end of the first verse, but that's only cause we had three days to practice it. so it's not her fault. but yeah i paused then picked up and kept going. it was pretty sucky, anyways if you just go to http://www.purevolume.com/weenusandtheplasticknives you can't get the bit i didn't say, but i gotta go eat lunch so peace out.

so Im trying to start a band called, wenis and the plastic knives, name could change though. anyways. my sisters my temp singer and my brothers my temp drummer (my brother could become permanent but it's doubtful) Im going to keep to a female lead vocals, cause man i love to hear a girl sing, i think it's so much nicer, and Im on bass/backup possibly accompanying vocals. also Ill hopefully get a guitarist for this eventually also.

also with what i have now on the 8th i believe, of august, i'll hopefully be performing behind the Sackville library in the baseball field, at the battle of the bands. (Hosted by the library)
other then that, guh to much grammar this summer, going overtime so i can get into the feel of writing essays and such. Im going into grade 12, i just never got the hang of this. it sucks man lol.
ah, in august Ill be hosting a Deviant Meet, for artists who have a deviantart acc. and live in N.S. it'll be at the Halifax commons, and it'll be like a picnic sort of thing. but hopefully that goes well.

anyways Ill be singing losing my religion by the great, GREAT, R.E.M. they should all be knighted like John Lennon, to bad there not as old as him. bwaha! inside joke sorry.

Im 16, my name is Milan (Mill-Ann) and Im an artist of all sorts, if you look hard enough you can probably fined a few demos I made and posted on PV, but I wont lead you to them cause I think there crap. @_@. Anyways Im really a fan of all music (preferably with substance filled lyrics or no lyrics at all, but I sometimes listen to crap lol)
My most fave bands of all would have to be The HRT (cause there not only a grate band but also I know the bassist fairly well. and hes an awesome guy.) Billy talent, A billion Ernies (its just so cool that they put there religion into Screamo of all things lol), Ronnie Day (is my emo outlet), Modest mouse (Yeeeaaah!), The Arcade fire, Green Day (new and old music), and Joel plasket (I can never spell his name right)
