The War of Generations There's the line between the sides. There they stand with furious eyes. They stare at each other with hearts of cold. There they stand stand, the young the old. In the homes they feed the flames. They yell at each other, calling names. Words of anger, slamming doors. Words of rage, painful roars. In the bathroom blades come out, listening to their parents shout. the locked door holds parents at bay. The child thinks about running away. It's the war of generations. In other places the child fights, defies their parents with all their might. Scream until red, a hateful place. One strikes another in the face. The parents are stupid, the kids know all. They learn it with their friends in Hot Topic at the mall. The parents are old and wize and smart, but have no place in their childs' heart. Neither know the Hell the other is in. War like this no one wins. It's the war of generations. The parents hate the kids. The kids hate back. Hope for friendship seems black. It's the war of generations. It's the war of generations.
