Yeah theres really not much to say. I live right in the middle of B.F.E. and got tired of myspace so i came here. Just another faithful contributer to the art of music, or at least my deinition of it anyways. Love to go to shows, (i pretty much always get a bloody nose or something in the mosh pit) and chill and hang out w/ friends and rock out w/ the local garage bands. I love to meet new people and chat, dont hesitate to comment or otherwise, but if u request me, please leave a comment or something, i love to talk w/ new people and get their perspective on the great mystery, yeah that was def corny as hell but who cares? "Never take life seriously, no one has ever made it out alive anyways."- Anonymous
Along w/ the horse business, my family raises golden retrievers at our ranch, these were the newest ones so far. Yeah they look cute but trust me 10 puppies is ALOT of work and cleaning. Perhaps you would like to buy one? (Please, theyre driving me insane!!!)
Recently alot of people have asked me where i what kind of job i have (this is usually due to my normal response "nothing much, just got home from work, u?"). But anyways what i do part-time is very different from what most teens do after school and occasionally on the weekends. While most teens get a job at a restaurant, or if theyre lucky land a job at the mall, i do something that many will consider as strange. You see my family owns a horse ranch and last summer i decided to go get my farrier certification (a horseshoer to use the vernacular). So pretty much what i do is i ride over to peoples houses, sometimes they come to me, and i shoe and/or trim their horses' hooves. Now for a few clarifications. One, its alot harder than it looks and sounds. For one, it is a branch of vetrinarian science, i had to go to an accredited horseshoeing school for 2 months over the summer to get my certification just so i could be liscenced to legally do it. Its a very scientific and technical job, one mistake, one degree off and i could make a horse unable to even walk. It also is very physically demmanding, being constantly bent over, much heavy lifting, bending and molding metal horseshoes, and of course dealing with a 1000 pound animal. Needless to say, my job is a very important one, and therfore it pays well. Its not an uncommon thing for me to make $75-$100 per horse for a shoe job, which takes about an hour (on a good day i can get about 3-5 horses done before im totally exuasted). I also train horses for people and occasionally give riding lessons. So now u know, and im sure alot of think this is all pretty stupid, but to be honest i could hardly care. I enjoy the hell out of it and thats all that really matters. So any other horse owners out there, let me know, its def a dying art. O and for those who were wondering no it does not hurt the horse, much of a horses hoof is dead, insensitive tissue.
OK im gonna try to make this as brief and painless as possible, so here goes, if you request me as a friend, please leave an accompanying message or comment. To be blunt and truthful i will not accept any request w/o some prior communication. Now to soften the blow, if you contact me i will reply and add you as one of my friends, i love meeting new people and will talk to anyone w/ something, anything to say. Im sure I speak for much of the purevolume community when i say this, Im sure many of you share this peeve of mine. so for those whom ive denied, its nothing personal, i would just like to hear from u first thats all, and youre more than welcome to contact me again if u wish, just leave a comment first please. Whew, im glad i got that off my chest.
Master of Mediocracy & Deceit. What the hell is that supposed to mean? Im sure alot of u thought that when u had the extreme misfortune of stumbling onto my page. Well it started out as a name for me and my friends' band (something we are stil debating if anyone has suggestions please share them , personally i like Flatline(d)). Me and one of my friends came up w/ it. Mediocracy has absolutly nothing to due w/ a lack of potential, you can do anything and be anybody u want to, only a lack of effort and work stands in your way from greatness. The way this usually works is that we get this idea inside our heads that we just cant do this, or this thing is just too much for me to handle, or im just not the right person for that task. Webster has a word for that-deception, deception of one's self. Me and my friend like this name (of course it was Master(s)) because by admitting our weaknessess, and truly i beleive this is everyones weakness, we are one step closer to confronting and defeating it. So.... by naming ourselves this we would be constantly reminding ourselves of our mortal weaknessess and our constant need to fight it, at least it wouldve been had the rest of the band not decided to scrap it!
