Newnessness

Alrighty.... So... I now have a purevolume. and i did a bit of exploring and found blue october and another awesome band that i'm sure no one in my area has heard of call All the Above. But they're cool. High fives to ya'll.

They make me think that josh and drew need to do some rehearsing. Without me making brownie bribes.... Even if ya'll love my brownies... Drew has written three albums so far.. and they haven't practiced any of them... Shame on you two!!

In theatre related news, Grease rehearsals are going fairly well. They'd be going better IF THE CAST KNEW THEIR LINES. I'll be bugging them all winter break about it. Including during our trip to new york. I'll quiz them on the plane. on the streets... EVERYWHERE... muahahahaha... Except during the shows.. like WICKED ON BROADWAY!!! WOOOOO!! I'm excited...

Now then.. to end the day i shall scour the computer for some sort of writing... ahh here we are.. some work from 3.. ish.. years ago..

Nap:
No one knows Iâm here.
Sleeping in a quiet tree house.
Rain taps the roof with a gentle calmness.
The ground soundlessly soaking up the tiny rain drops
Puppies wait, wanting to play.
All is right with the world.


Colored City:
In a yellow room I wake.
The path of a yellow hall I take.
A girl stands in a yellow lobby.
Free, flying high above a colored city.
In a blue room I wake.

Not my best work... I'm hoping with these little poems, however bad they are, might inspire one of you talented musicans.. I'm not talented, or a musician, but hey.. i can try.
