i mean other than the fact that i live in the city. why do most afro americans diss rock music. it was derived from blues which was used to describe bad times.i kind of stopped listening to rap because it lost a lot of its oringinal purpose(didn't really express the struggles of my people because there isn't much to struggle for anymore. at least not in the usa) and a lot the new rap is repetitive a lot of the black kids at my school say i'm acting "white" and i don't even know what that is. also is there anything i can do to get people to see the beauty of rock? and is there a way that i can contribute to stop stereotypes? any answers would be appreciated also band and inspirational speeches recommendations ( i like emo screamo punk metalcore deathcore(pretty much all rock) TY all and God bless
