jimmy kimmel live taping
on the 22 i went to hollywood with some of my friends. we went to go to the jimmy kimmel taping for the mini concert held behind the el capitan theatre. the kooks were playing. my friend wanted me to go so i went with them. it was fun and it was free. they played five or four songs. i usually don't listen to that kind of music but they were pretty good.
A Heartwell Ending Concert 2/17
it was fun.
there was six bands that played.
amorette, camden, in memory, enblessin, amelie, and a heartwell ending.
everything was cool.
but during the first song when AHE played a fight broke out next to me.
it was between two girls.
i saw some girl just standing over another girl and beating her up.
she also got her extensions ripped out.
the kind of extensions where you glue on.
then they're friends tried to pull them away from each other.
then they started pusing each other.
i almost got hit cause the girl that was getting beat on was right in the back of me.
and the girl beating on her was coming towards us so i leaned over the stage so i wouldn't get hit.
justin [lead singer] saw it and he kept singing and he pointed to our area.
we were in front of the stage so he saw everything.
so did the other band memebers.
after the song ended the manager of chain reaction went on mic and said:
"if your going to fight, go outside and do it, we don't want this bullshit of fighting over boyfriends or any of that shit, people came here to have fun and listen to music so if your going to fight and start shit, get the fuck out and do it outside."
then there was this one girl who was talking shit about me and my friend.
but i don't care.
it was some stupid middle school kind of shit.
but besides that it was really fun.
and i also got a drumstick from enblessin.
benefit show
it was held at my school
the bands were okay
there was five bands
it was fun
some parts were kind of boring
they banned pitting after the third band
but right before they played their last song
the lead singer was like "fuck it, i know they banned pitting but it's fucking boring, just go ahead since it's our last song anyways."
before the next band came on they said no pitting again
but they allowed skanking
everything was fine until a fight broke out during the last performance
overall it was okay i guess
i made him feel bad
I finally got my a heartwell ending tickets. The drummer delivered them. He kept calling me malina without the a at the end. I didn't correct him over the phone cause i knew he would get it wrong again. When he got here he said hello and asked how many tickets do i need. I told him how many and then i said "um...actually...my name is pronounced my-liane...". He put his head back into his car seat and he kept saying "oh my god...i am so sorry...gosh i can't believe i did that...". His girlfriend was like "i told you your pronunciation was wrong...it didn't fit with the spelling." He kept saying sorry over and over. I told him don't worry about it, it happens all the time, but he kept saying sorry. I told him that everyone couldn't get my name right the first time. Then i told him that everyone calls me mai and he said okay i'll call you mai since it's easier. Then he asked for the pronunciation again and i said it again. Again he said sorry and we said good bye and see you at the show and what not. I guess i made him feel really embarrased. I also think i made him feel like a jerk. I feel bad for making him that way. Him and his girlfriend are really nice people.
battle of the bands 1/18
yesterday i went to the battle of the bands at north high
it was their first battle of the bands
It kind of sucked cause we had to stay seated during the performances
we went to go see my brother's friends band funerals foresaken
there was also twilight front, happystance, gunda boys, and the untold chapter
the first two are indie bands
the third a ska band
and the last two, the untold chapter and funerals foresaken, are hardcore bands
happystance won third, the untold chapter second, and gunda boys first
half of the auditorium was pissed even me and my brother
cause funerals foresaken didn't even place
when they announced gunda boys won first
everyone booed and started chanting foresaken
while gunda boys performed after claiming their prize half the auditorium left
i don't have anything against the other bands
it's just that funerals was really good and the untold chapter

Haha yeah man that sounds just like me right now. I
haven't been to a show in awhile either and it frickin
sucks. Remember when I went to Taste Of Chaos? Well idk
when that was but the last show I went to since then
was Teddy Geiger lol like a month ago. I'm sooooo mad
cuz I've had to miss all these great people!! Frickin
Underoath ans Showread came again and I had to miss
them. I haven't been able to go to any shows cuz my car
gets overheated in like 10 minutes. I'm gonna get a new
one soon though. So then I just need more money. Hehe.

I know!! I don't even like rap or stuff like that, but
I bought it cuz I knew it'd be funny. Dude, the Scary
Kids song is so crazy- their frickin rapping and it
actually sounds good! SO funny. ^_^ Anyways,
concerts...well Paramore is coming with my fave local
band Hush Hush,Commotion- frickin LOVE them.
Showbread's coming and I'm SUPER-EXSHITED about that
cuz I always miss their frickin shows and they're my
fave band. Then Demon Hunter is coming with Oh,
Sleeper; The Maine with Forever the Sickest
Kids....that's all I can think of...hmm. Oh yeah I just
realized that when I said I got 2 tickets, I meant like
citations er whatever, not concert tix! Haha. Yeah one
for driving with expired tags and another abandonment
of car/impeding traffic, cuz my stupid car brokedown
and we for some reason left it in the middle of the
road...yay life.

Well, I hope you get to go- Warped doesm't come to
Oklahoma so I've never been before. I looks sooo fun
tho. :( Kool about The Devil Wears Prada- I've been
kinda getting into them lately, kool band. Have you
heard their version of "Still Fly" on Punk Goes Crunk?
It's so sweet. I just bought that cd and it's so funny.
There's a ton of shows coming up and I'm so broke!!
Luckily most of them are in the summer so I have time
to save up. I just got 2 tickets in one week....arg.

It was the best ever- I say that about every concert
but it really was. ^_^ I liked how they don't make you
wait between bands since there's a side stage, it just
like Bam! There's another haha. Did you hear they had 3
Japanese bands there? Dude they were all sooo good.
They couldn't speak english that well, but it was cool.
Like some people were being rude and yelling you suck-
so stupid. I frickin love Asians tho, don't ask why,
they're all just so hot... :

about the tickets- I'm going to Taste of Chaos in like
5 days- heck yeah!! And dude, that's frickin sweet that
Christian won, but I actually never got to see the
finaly. I knew he would though cuz he's the frickin
best ever lol.

Yeah.Buddy!!!! He will I know it. I'll be pretty mad
too if he doesn't. I guess since you haven't seen most
of the episodes I won't tell you who else is there-
they are all good, but Christian is just a bowl of
awesomeness so he has to. ^_^
