Church and State
Many people in the United States believe that it is necessary that Church is separated from the state. Not only do they subconsciously single out Christianity but they do not realize that what they think must be done is altogether impossible. What they are asking for is to make the “secular” parts of life be left alone from all forms of religion and beliefs. They do not want other religions to be “imposed” upon them. What these people have not thought about clearly is that everyone has their own worldview, no matter what. As J.F. Baldwin puts it, “Every thinking person is religious; every thinking person has a worldview” (Baldwin 71). When people have their worldviews set, everything they do, whether they realize it or not, is based upon their view and religion. If a school teacher tells a kid that cheating is banned and it is bad, that is part of that teacher’s view. If the church were banished from state that would mean every single person would have to act and think with absolutely no worldview or personal views of what is right and what is wrong; obviously, this is impossible. Consequently, to separate church from state is impossible.
Moral Relativism
Moral relativism is the issue of how morality becomes relative according to an individual’s interpretation. For example, if you’re late for your son’s baseball game and you forgot to bring the hot dog buns you need to run to the store. You race to get the nearest cart when an old man is trying to use it. For you, a non-Christian, it was right for you to take it; you needed it. But this old man, a non-Christian, thought it right he got it. “Thus, one man’s good might be another man’s bad— and both men, since they are basically good, must be right” (Baldwin 136). Now, in a situation like this it doesn’t seem to matter who was right; however, when it comes to bigger issues, these non-Christians have difficulty with each other’s changing views of right and wrong. Men naturally will follow other men. Often times these leaders who are non-Christians are the ones to set the moral standard; others follow this standard and accept it but when men die and exchange offices the standard changes. This results in an inconsistency in the moral standard and a question of what real truth is. “Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!’”

i'm pretty surprise at 1st place....but i guess no
matter how sick i am, i won't drink that thing....the

that's so frustrating...but it's for your own
good...Hepatitis A?? i don't really know that thing but
i guess u should listen to what that doctor
says...so,why does that guy has to go to korea?? just
curious =P my 6th dimension world?? hahaha....nothing
much but i'm pretty worried coz i'm having my final
exam next week....i only read a few notes and it still
a long way to go...hahaha =P
