Hey
Ya so it's friday night and I had to work unfortunately and I just got off so I decided to write a blog entry since there wasn't much else to do. Ya so it won't be long now and I will be leaving to go home for the summer, can't wait. I am gonna be going back home to newfoundland for the whole summer. It's going to be great to see everybody again I am really starting to get homesick especially for good food, not like the grabage you get in the restaurants here no ffence to the ppl living here but besides the fast food restaurants which tatse the same everwhere the rest of the rstaurants are nothing moree than ok. Ya so I plan to see a ton of shows the summer especially going to go see children of eve. Sucks there is like no music scene up here, there is probably like 5 bands up here and most of what they do is covers which I find dull since I am a musician and a songwrite and I think that playing the instruments s one thing but ppl in bands should challenge themselves and write some original material even if it takes them like 5 months to write one song just try it. I am also hoping to play some shows with my band the summer, got to see if my biddy can get me the name of the club owner where they hold their gigs and see if we can get a few spots on the line up for some all ages shows.
Also hoping to start recoding the demo the summer cause I am getting some recoding equipment and a new laptop so all we need is to pick up some more mics and we can recod some takes at steve's house. Well anyway this blog has gone on long enough so I'll talk to you all later.
