So I am posting my first...post...so it will stop saying I lead an uneventful life, because that is simply untrue. I like the whole idea of these "blogs". Its like looking into someone else's life for a moment; its like reading one chapter out of a book that has not yet ended. Interesting. Well today is Father's day, big shout out to all the Dads out there, congrats. I made my dad dinner, and my sister and I gave him a gift. (You know whats funny? I always write "gift" because I can never remember how to spell "preasent". I think I got it wrong there too. Oh well. ) It was nice. Very family-ish. Now I am just messing around with this "internet" thing. Though it is a bit new wave for my taste..but when Sport came out in '83...
Okay so I watched American Psycho yesterday, and its still in my head.
I wonder if anyone besides myself still frequents homestarrunner.com anymore. I personally think it is funny, so w/e to all you homestarrunner.com haters. What do people talk about in these things? I cant think of anything worth saying, so I think people just write what ever they think of. Like one huge rant without having to be mad about something. I think i will just write random words next time, and let ya'll just guess what they heck I am trying to say. I am so not from the south. Not like there is anything wrong with that or anything.
So Summer Vacation is almost upon me, I have one more final exam. (Chemistry, incase you wanted to know) And I am trying to get a job. Responsible, I know. But you know what, I am kind of excited about it. I applied to Sears, Finishline, CVS, and a local clothing store. But If Sears calls for an interview, I think I will just say I got an offer somewhere else because I dont want to have to work on commission. That would suck. I couldn't sell anything to anybody, so forget about it, Sears! I really hope I get an offer at either CVS or Finishline. Then I could get an employee discount on some new running shoes. Hehe.
I dont know what to do to make this summer really count. I think I should just make some friends. That would be great. But dont think that I am complaining- I tend to be a fairly private person- but a few girlfriends might be nice. Even a best friend, but I may be getting ahead of myself. "Slow and steady wins the race" and all that.
I know what I want to do! I am going to swirl, and mix and blend, and make a beautiful painting just for you, for reading this entire post. I really dont know why you didnt abandon it a few paragraphs ago. But hey, I am glad you didnt! And maybe, If I am satisfyed with my creation, I will Pic it, upload it, and display it for the whole PureVolume world to see! Hooray for Going Global!
Ciao!
