Choose Your Treasure
Happily, he sinks forever into the deep.
His wife's knee-high boots to his $100 jeans.
They all are found worthy to control the life that slowly sinks
Into the deep sea of green.
Because "money is extraordinary,"
And “money is everything.â€
There is a teen in a tainted scene.
She holds the hand of a being that will make her weep.
Blindly, she follows the lead of this masked thief.
Her mind ponders on dreams while her heart is being
Torn piece by piece by the Pit of Impurity.
Because " 'love' is extraordinary,"
And “ ‘love’ is everything.â€
There are people being set free of the earthly dream
Letting go of the reins, and falling on their hands and knees.
They gratefully grasp the mercy and love that Jesus brings
With scars on His hands and feet and gnarled flesh from which He bleeds.
Thank the Lord there is no fee to get into eternity
