Hello, World Wide Web!!! (or is it "WILD" Web? Hmmm...)
It's Levi Hambrick, the reclusive and often elusive individual from Texas! I'll admit, I haven't been active on this page for several months now, and in my absence [apparently] someone hacked my page...how nice of them! =P
I've since regained control, though, and decided to post a blog to keep slightly updated! Remember when I used to be logged on here every ten minutes? Ahhhh...THOSE were the days... :)
Well, recently, here's what I've been up to:
#1: College! I've been sucked into the black hole of communication known as higher education (aka college), from which few people ever make it out alive. I've learned what it means to truly spend entire weeks studying, with almost no free time, and hours upon hours of sleep lost in the process. However, it's been a great experience so far, and hopefully I'll be able to catch my breath over winter break, which is a relaxing 4 weeks.
#2: Myspace! For those of you who have myspaces, GO ADD US!!! We're on there much more often than on here...so everything's more up-to-date on there. (www.myspace.com/karpenterskids)
#3: Thanksgiving preparation! Don't ya just love it how countless people are starving in Africa and places like that, while we have special holidays where we do nothing but gorge ourselves with food under the pretense of being thankful (not to mention CONTENT) with what we have? Sarcasm aside, I wish we could change what Thanksgiving is about, and celebrate how much we DO have by having our nation collectively skip a meal and then ship that food we WOULD'VE eaten out to areas that are less fortunate than us.
Also...on a small sidenote...have you ever wondered why we have a HAPPY thanksgiving and a MERRY christmas? Why can't CHRISTMAS be happy instead?
Anyways, I hope this blog finds most of you in good health (I now there's bound to be a few sick ones out of the thousands of you, but overall I hope it's not too bad), and I hope you'll leave me a comment and let me know how you've been---you guys are awesome, and I'm sorry for all the neglect I've shown in the past couple of months---let's change that, shall we? :)
