bad news, that brings out the best

my doctor recently had the pleasure of telling me i have pollyps on an internal organ (that shall remain nameless  :P) which could lead to cancer in the next 4 to five years.

after hearing this, i decided to live my life to it's fullest...   saying yes to more opportuneties, helping people when they need it and not when it's convenient for me, being a better friend to the ones i hold dear, listening to music that keeps me upbeat, and seeing the world as a place of boundless beauty instead of a means to get ahead of the rest of society  :)

i've also created a list of things i want to do before i kick the bucket  :)  one of which is learning to play the acoustic guitar.  so maybe you'll hear a couple songs from me on here one day, and they can lift you guys up the way so many good songs have done for me.
