A Boyhood Bravery Or something less

They said i fell asleep, while everyone was talking,
i just wanted to dream up something better then there fallen hopes spoken out of listless vessels.
Ah to Sleep, to Dream in a frozen lie where i can curl up next to a lover left over from another,
a dried up rug, or a t-shirt outta the dryer.
Where i have momentary paralysis, i dont have to do anything except sit by and watch the yellow birds, red birds, and bluebirds all compete for a vying top spot on the playlist.
to Come close enough to something that i can breath it in, and not taste the monoxide of air.
The fire down below(seger Says), and the lovers on our god-given earth,
is there some exterior motive to it all. to keep us suspended in a certain spot, not letting the spiders reach our helpless spines, under the cover of protection.
With everyone competing For the perfect pupil, the brown-nosing puss, i wanna be the sonnet that sings jesus to sleep,
my life a song that lucifier would be proud of before he was the Hades of the soil,
Shakespear would rave and Faulkner would kill many men to reach a songs status, and he would laugh all the way home at the irony of it all.
