So yea, I'm really easy to get along with, I'm always happy and never let things get to me. I tend to talk to people about everything (I mean everything!) and I have ADD so I tend to get distracted alot by everything too. I do love to drink, I go for the hard liquor :D I don't really smoke anymore, it's icky. I'm from NS in Canada, and I love it here. I love to put on concerts, I do love going to shows because there's alot of great local bands playing all the time. there's so much more about me! Xjohanna0

I got a job finally!

So around the end of July I was hired by McDonald's. I feel like a hypocrite working there, but its a job and their the only ones who hired me right away (sweeeetz). Im glad I work there, the people are awesome and it gives me more work experience. I can work the grill, cooking meat and everything else that needs to be done in the kitchen, and the lobby as well, which to me isnt all that fun. I dont like cleaning up everyone's messes, but at the same time it keeps me busy. I love being on the move all the time, so even for a minute where nothing needs to be done, Im sooooo bored!
On holidays, if Im scheduled to work I get time and a half, which I think is pretty fucking cool.
My starting salary is $7.40, which is amazing since I was only used to $6.50/$6.80.
Theres a guy that I work with, that I really like. You can tell, I get so nervous and giddy (I've never been super quiet around a guy, even if I reeeeeeeeeally liked him). He's like 4 years older than I am, but he's just super nice, and a good kisser :) I can go on and on about him, but I dont really feel like it right now

Im just happy I have a job, and can actually pay for my huge road trip coming up in October :D

Ottawa trip was amazing!

so last month I went to Ottawa, and what a great time I had! The ONLY downfall was my ankle but that didn't stop me from doing anything. I saw the Parliament Building (counting, I had my bags checked 6 times that day), Rideau Mall (went there everyday in hopes of finding some nice things), my hotel was amazing (top 5 I think?) and it was fun times, met a lot of hot guys, my friend got a tatoo, I almost got a piercing, went to some lebanese fast food place (I didn't buy anything, it looked pretty skectchy, my friends bought stuff. pretty sure they regreted that), this time I didn't drink at all (I waned to so bad!), missed some good shows, man I did so much stuff it was such a great experience!
The plane was a lot of fun, some wierd people I met, but they were really nice. The only thing i dont like about planes are landing because my ears go real crazy. I have some pretty funny pics of me on the plane, as well as other friends. But yea, the way back when I was in Ottawa airport (not sure the name) I was waiting half an hour because someone here didn't know how to spell my last name right (even though I wrote it down for him and spelled it out to him as well)!! I waited half an hour just to hear "I'll just write your name down in case there's a mixup or something.. not sure what to do" I was about to beat her (even though I'm not like that)!!! On the way back on the plane I sat behind this old fellow who kept on farting every 5 minutes.. eeew it was grose!
but yea, this whole trip was such a great experience, and I wish I never left!

Ottawa here I come!

So this Friday I'm heading out to Ottawa, it's going to be so exciting. Only downfall though is my flight is at 7:45 AM, and I usually wake up at lunch on regular days.
But anyway, Im there for the weekend, and the first day I'm there I'm going to see a really good show with The Fall Of Troy, Poison The Well, Criteria, Horse The Band and some other band.. I can't wait, I've loved PTW for a very long time, and I recently started to like FOT. Criteria has a few good songs, btu I don't like Horse The Band. But yea, I'm not even sure what the name of my hotel I'm staying in, but to me it doesn't matter.
The next day, I'm going to see another show with a bunch of punk bands. some are good, some are bad. Then after that I really have nothing planned. I guess maybe see a bunch of old friends I haven't seen since they left halifax (or Dartmouth).
But yea, this will be my second time on a plane (first time was when i was born) so I'm pretty excited to see what it's really like. I'm going to be with a few friends, so it's not going to be that bad. Also, it's been like 15 years since I actually went "travelling". Other times has just been going on road trips with friends to the valley (kentville, greenwood, etc etc etc) or to NB, or PEI.
But, for this I have to go to the bank and bring in all my pocket change. right now, there's only 13 bucks in there, and I found like 30 bucks around my room. I had to clean my room to find it, but I found some! Also, my mom said she's giving me like 40 bucks or so, so I'll have enough to buy some things.

I'm so excited to go to Ottawa, and I'll have a million pictures and videos

Free Show last thursday was sooo sweet!

Last thursday, pending the Juno weekend, there was a free show with Joel Plaskett (my absolute fave), Matt Mays & El Torpedo (they're pretty good) and a bunch of others. It was at the Parade Square in Halifax, and it was PACKED. I met with a bunch of friends, and of course I go straight towards the front stage. I always love being in the "mosh" or in the action.
But yea, I met a few guys, and they're really nice. College guys, but that doesn't matter;) We "rocked out", laughed, talked, everything. It was grand. So anyway, a lot of people were pushing trying to get closer to the stage, or away from the stage, so of course there were a few fights about it. I fought with some guy, but then after a while we just laughed about it.
So there was this guy crowd surfing a lot, it was fine with me. This one time he got in a fight with a guy because he couldn't hold him up. but anyway, whenever this guy was crowd surfing and was above me or close, the guys I met always chucked him away (I always love how people watch out for me and such). well, a second after I took some tylenol (headaches progressed after a bit) this guy that they chucked fell on top of me, and I banged my head on the concrete. I could actually feel my eyes going to the back of my head and blacking out. hahaha, a second later i come to consiousness since I could feel people pushing this guy off of me & pulling me up. They got so pissed off at the guy it was hilarious. But anyway, I began to rock out again, because I'm used to blacking out but then rocking out (I have so much fun I just kind of pass out, either from liquor or just fun).
but anyway, the bands did really good, and I'm glad I didn't miss out. On the way there, my mom was driving me and some friends, and when we were in front of a hotel I saw Chris Martin in a limo, and he had his window open looking at the scenes. I would've said something but I'm in a car.
But yea, on the way home on the ferry I was showing my friends the pictures and videos I took of the show, and some random guy comes over to me & looks at them. hahah, he thought I had a problem with that, but then it turns out the first day I met him ( a few years back) we got into a huge fight over something.. but yea, we all watched them, and laughed at them as well. but yea, it was a fun ferry ride (as usual) and of course, I met like 20 guys that night. I always meet guys everyday, either me going over to them, or them coming to me. It's been like that my whole life (whoa man!) heh
but yea, that's all I remember about the show, and I'm still recovering. Great fun!

Finally starting to look for a new job.

So I'm going to look for a new job, since my bank account has depleted by a lot..

My last job was fun, I was hired at Dollarama, happily I didn't need to go through another interview and I was hired once I came in the doors because 3 people had quit that day.. which to me sounds about normal because they management treats their employees like shit.

So anyway, I was so happy I wasn't interviewed. My very first job interview was at the famous Superstore.. It went extremely well until the guy said I'd be hired to work in Seafood.. for those who know me, I absolutely hate seafood or eating any kind of animal. It's sick and grose!

Anyway, I worked at Dollarama for like 5 months, and they laid me off on Christmas Eve, rotten!! My boss called me the day after my birthday like really early in the morning (who does that!?) and was like "there's a huge lay off, and you're one of them. bye".. What a bitch eh? At first, I wasn't going to do it, or say I was and never show up, since I had important stuff to do that day.. But then I kind of realized I only had 46 cents to my name, and I really needed money.

So yea, she's always treating everyone like shit, and wonders why everyone hates her. Everyone there said I was the best worker, the first day of work, since I actually did what I was supposed to do, and I did it well.. But yea, I wasn't really suprised I was laid off, I can't get many hours since I actually go to school. It was only me and another girl who went to school, everyone else there were either High School dropouts or something like that. Also, I play guitar anywhere on Monday's, and I've been doing that for a couple of years. I also went to a math tutor, since I wanted a good education to get an even better job (Personally, it doesn't matter what type of job I have). I only needed 2 days off a week, but I still only worked once a week.

So on my last day I made sure I did absolutely everything wrong.. Only a few people came in that day, and I'd have to say they were the best customers... one was a jew, and the other wasn't. They got into a huge fight because we were promoting Christmas.. It was fun to watch, and one of the cashiers (she's had a history for stealing a lot of stuff and quitting the next day for her mother died or other lies she makes up.. I don't know why she was hired, she's cruel to everyone around her and doesn't do what she's supposed to) came into the fight because she's like that. It's one of those moments you wish you had a video camera, because it was hilarious.
Anyway, the woman who was a jew mistaken me for one for some reason, and she freaked out when I said I celebrate Christmas and I always have. She also freaked out at me when I said I was 100% Canadian.. I don't know why she freaked out at me, but it kind of made my day.

But yea, I'm looking for a job. Anyone in the Dartmouth/Halfiax area want to give a job, I'd proudly appreciate it.
