Hi all! So, what can I say about me then? Well the 'jf' in my user name isn't my initials. It stands for Jesus Freak, which is pure and simple what I am. I'm into your regular everyday things, playing guitar, football (or soccer, depends who's reading this!), stuff like that. Please let me know if you want to read my testimony, was a bit long for a blog! You'll get the itty-gritty about my life and relationship with God there, but put simply, I'm an ordinary guy (debatable I know!) who's been touched by an extraordinary God. Hey all!
Sorry that the testrimony was a bit long, really hope it has inspired you though.
If you take nothing else from reading about my journey with God, please please please remember this: you are not alone. I know that a lot of you will be going through things which I have mentioned, probably even worse. People will let you down, it's a fact. No matter how good their intentions are, even your closest loved ones will let you down at some point. They're human! But there is one 'person' you can always depend on.
This is from Jeremiah chapter 29.
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
It's an incredible thing to know, but a difficult thing to grasp. GOD, THE GOD, CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING IN IT LOVES YOU!!!!! His love is not distributed on merit. One thing i've heard is this. He loves you, because he loves you, because he loves you. It's not that we've done anything to deserve it. Below is the website of a letter, the father's love letter. Go to the website and click on read. It's all true! How amazing is that? So when you feel like you're all alone, without a hope, without a future, turn to your creator, your saviour, your protector, YOUR DAD! We've been accepted as his children. All we have to do is say yes.
