I play guitar and sing and a songwriter for my band called "Jackie Rocks" We are all going into the 9th grade this Fall 2007. We have played more than 200 shows this year and all over Santa Cruz & now San Jose, California. We were part of "Your Music Magazine' Battle of the bands and won 3rd place in another online battle of the bands. Things are looking good for us and we just were featured in three local papers, The Santa Cruz Sentinal's "The guide", The Mid County Post twice and we were intervied by "The Good Times" and "Your Music Magazine".

Excited
I'm so excited! My band is starting to perform in the bay area. Tomorrow we are in Redwood City. Thanks to Layla of Lane Four. And we played a Halloween show at the Avalon thanks to Juliana from Crimes of Passion. Fallen Poet also invited us to play last Spring at too. All the bands we have been playing with are really cool to us. It's been a lot of fun!

I'm a big music fan and a musician myself. I like to listen to lots of bands. I have a band called Jackie Rocks. We play all over Santa Cruz, CA and starting to play in San Jose now. We were the youngest band ever to be selected to be in "Your Music Magazine's Battle of the Bands" called "Rock Wars". We came in 3rd place in an online battle of the bands called "Santa Cruz Live Battle of the bands. We play all orginal songs with some cover tunes here and there. We just finished filiming for a local t.v. show called "Musician's Weekly".
